These promotions are only valid with tickets purchased on the day and not tickets booked in advance or online.
Ticket promotions that give you a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket are always based on the full price adult entrance ticket. This discount applies when a full priced ticket is purchased. However some 2 for 1 promotions are available to pre-book when following the instructions as advised on your voucher.
